DESCRIPTION:Creating a Safe\, Inclusive Halloween for Every Child \nBrookins Charitable Living (BCL) is excited to host our Inaugural Community Trunk or Treat\, a free family event designed to provide children and families with a safe\, welcoming\, and inclusive place to celebrate Halloween. \nOur goal is to bring together community organizations\, businesses\, neighbors\, and volunteers to create an afternoon filled with fun\, connection\, and lasting memories. This event is not a fundraiser — it is a community service initiative that relies on the generosity and participation of local partners who share our commitment to supporting children and families. \nHost a Trunk \nTrunk or Treat only works if the community shows up and participates — so this is the ask: bring a vehicle\, decorate a trunk\, and hand out treats directly to families. \n• Decorate a vehicle trunk and hand out treats directly to families. \n• Trunk spots are limited (about 35–40)\, so we’re confirming them on a first-come\, first-served basis. \n• Register here: Trunk or Treat Sign-Up Form — no need to have every detail ready; you can fill in the rest closer to the event. \nOther Ways to Support \nCommunity partners are also invited to: \n• Volunteer during the event \n• Provide family-friendly activities or crafts \n• Share information about community resources \nInterested in volunteering?
